Description

Fo Guang Shan

Fo Guang Shan is famous for ancient and modern Buddhist culture. It is also known for education, charitable work, a pilgrimage location, and sightseeing of a Buddhist temple paradise.

Go-shan warehouse

In order to respond to Kaohsiung County Government's “township leisure garden area” plan, reorganization of the warehouse took place. They developed a leisure sightseeing agricultural area. It is also a great opportunity for the urban residents to experience village life.

SAN-HO WA - South Taiwan preserves the tile kiln

Dashu township is the most centralized area of tile kilns in all of Taiwan. Because of mainstream construction using materials such as reinforced concrete and reinforced steel, the tile kiln industry market is withering rapidly. In southern Taiwan, Dashu township San-Ho Wa tile kiln is alone in defending this tradition. By standing together and working diligently toward a “leisure, industry, culture, education” multiple-angle state development, they hope to give the tile kiln industry new life. In continuing the tradition, generations will follow to continue and develop this industry.

Secondary Historical Site- Old railroad bridge

This bridge was designed by Japanese engineer, T. Iida. The bridge length is 1526 meters. The material used on the bridge was transported from Kaohsiung and Keelung Harbors using the railroad. After completion, it became the longest bridge in Asia
